Fair enough and like I said, there are tonnes of medications out there. I hope you find the appropriate one for you.

I've been on wellbutrin xl 300 for 3 years now and unfortunately I do feel that it is a cause of my anxiety since it is a stimulant. My doctor prescribed it for depression and anxiety and it does work for the depression, but I'm very anxious and paranoid and have racing thoughts a lot. I also don't feel like it helped suppress my appetite that much. BUT it did not cause me to have more of an appetite and I did not gain any weight. I gained 30 pounds on prozac but I was also eating less healthy at that time. Maybe once my 300 mg pills are all out ill try going down to 150 again and see if it helps reduce the anxiety.

I have been on Wellbutrin while in 100% eating disorder recovery, and it helped me deal with other unrelated issues (I wanted this particular Rx because the SSRIs have sexual side effects I hoped to avoid).

I've taken it while eating disordered and it had an extremely negative effect on me. I can see why they don't prescribe it to ED patients, as I felt very physically unwell when I took it while using behaviors, and I decided to stop as a result. I know everyone is different but I really wouldn't recommend taking it while disordered, as a blanket statement. There's a reason they won't give it to you if you have ED.

    Take care xx
    I can't play it safe,
but I might just in case
