The Game is over,
Its done. I quit.
I did not win, ( I was determined I would )
I thought I could stop playing
But its power took over
I was a girl posessed, obsessed
Not enough, not enough
Just one more roll of the dice
Just one more move, one more ladder to climb
Then it will all be ok.
The rules grew by the day
Sometimes I didnt play by the rules
You didnt like that. You had to punish me then.
I dont know who you are, game, but
I quit you.I quit
Your game. Its just too much for me. Too hard
You whisper 'just keep playing-
-you'll see- you can win eventually'
Dont lie to me! The game cannot be won
I wish I knew before I started playing
That there are more snakes than ladders
More odd than matching cards
So. I am a quitter. easy
I wont miss you at all.

Ahhh the darned game! I remember the day I was told about it and started 'playing' was in a Year 10 Maths class, hehe. I havent lost for a while, damnit!
