Do you really have to ask?

Okay, without getting into the icky details, how on earth to you manage not to block the drains? I understand the sound of the water will cover any suspicious sounds though.

I used to purge down the sink before I married when I still lived with my parents and I used to block the drains all the time. As a homeowner it's the loo or a bucket to be transferred to the loo asap.

yeahh, well i never get this problem, cos we have a f''ked plughole at the bottom of the shower. its massive so nothing gets stuck, maybe cos its a powershower idk. but i never have had bits stuck or the drain going wierd and ive been doing it on/off for around half a year trying to stop doing it though!

See I have never understood this blocking the drains thing.. maybe ive just been ridiculously lucky? Ive always purged in the sink or the shower.. or failing that, outside (yuck..) The loo is too conspicuous what with having to flush like 3 times to get rid of all the evidence.

I think perhaps the places ive lived have just had crazily good drains?! Even now I live alone I still use the sink because its easier somehow.

I never understand why people purge in the shower lol! Maybe it's cos I live in my own house but I don't get why you'd purge in a small drain rather than the toilet!

But you have to bathe in the shower! The toilet by nature is made for unpleasantness, isn't it? XD
“We stand upon the brink of a precipice. We peer into the abyss-we grow sick and dizzy. Our first impulse is to shrink from the danger. Unaccountably we remain. And because our reason violently deters us from the brink, therefore do we the most impetuously approach it. The impulse increases to a wish, the wish to a desire, the desire to an uncontrollable longing. As it is, you will easily perceive that I am one of the many uncounted victims of the Imp of the Perverse.”
