    Default THIN- Lauren Greenfield

Hands down the best documentary I have ever seen, not even regarding the fact that it really gives a gut wrenching sense of the reality of eating disorders.
If you have not seen it then go on youtube and watch it.
I promise you won't regret it.

It really is brilliant, but also one of the most triggering things I've ever seen...

I actually felt the opposite. It's reinforced my will to get better. Im not sure if you watched any of the related movies but Polly died and the entire video just got me thinking. I don't want my parents to have to bury me. No parent should ever have to do that.

I can totally see that people may find it triggering and I'm really sorry if I triggered anyone here by posting it
that was not my intention at all, as I agree with weightlessrunner. I think it shows how much these people lose and the context makes it even more poignant. To me it shows sisterhood and kindness, and what's more a group of women trying their hardest not to be beaten.
    Sorry again though

Oh, no no, no need to apologise! it's not your fault that i find it triggering! It is a very good documentary and ought to be shared. Like weightlessrunner pointed out, different people will have different reactions

It really is one of the best documentaries. No sugar-coating. You get to see the mess it is.

Yes! That's what I like about it. As confronting as it is, it depicts the reality of an eating disorder and there is no sense of glamour or whatever shit is portrayed in the media.

Yeah I was sad when I found out Polly died.

I saw this documentary several times and I remember I liked it a lot. Yes it is triggering but isn't most ED content?
