    Default 5 questions...

i guess i've just been sort of curious about these questions lately.
since i don't have any personal people in my life with bulimia...

    1. how old were you when you first started purging?
    2. how many days/months/years have you been bulimic?
    3. on average how many times a day/week do you purge?
    4. does anyone know, if so, have they done anything to help?
    5. do you plan to mak a change and stop any time soon? (be honest.)

    1. 16
    2. 5 years, soon 6. It is frightening to see in writing.
    3. Once a day.
    4. My parents and sister. They have tried to help me, but now they've given up. Whenever I'm home they calculate with me not being able to attend to anything for about 2 hours after dinner. My mum even buys me binge-food.
    5. I'm currently trying not to B/p for a week. (Day 2) I have already managed to go from b/p-ing three times a day til one which is major progress.
Everybody makes mistakes. It shouldn't cost them everything they want in life.

    1. how old were you when you first started purging? 19
    2. how many days/months/years have you been bulimic? Off and on for one or two years, but eating disordered for seven.
    3. on average how many times a day/week do you purge? usually one or two "sessions" a day with the occasional off day.
    4. does anyone know, if so, have they done anything to help? My mom and one friend knows. My mom told me to get help and my friend has an eating disorder too so it wasn't really something that came up.
    5. do you plan to make a change and stop any time soon? (be honest.) I keep trying.

    1. how old were you when you first started purging?

I was 32 when I purged for the first time

    2. how many days/months/years have you been bulimic?

    1 year

    3. on average how many times a day/week do you purge?

I only purge once or twice week, once a day, I mainly restrict but was given a bulimia diagnosis by my therapist

    4. does anyone know, if so, have they done anything to help?

My family know I have an eating disorder but do not know about B&P, only 1 friend knows everything, and she done everything she could do help and even took me to the doctor.

    5. do you plan to mak a change and stop any time soon?

I am currently in recovery now, not sure if I will ever be 100% ok with food ever again, I have virtually stopped b&p only having a b&p once a month but hoping it will stop shortly

    1. The first time I wanted to made myself throw up I was 13 years old, but I ran out of the bathroom, knowing that what I was about to do would destroy me. I was smart back then. I am not sure though wether the first time I actually did make myself throw up was November 2010 or December 2010, anyway, I was 17 years old.
    2. If counting since the day I first made myself throw up, it's been either 13 or 14 months. Before that I was starving myself in episodes of a few months ever since I was 13 years old. Things got "really" bad 3 weeks after my 17th birthday, in a way like "never been normal since."
    3. on average? I think I purge 3 days/week, how many times I don't know.
    4. nope. My mom thinks I am "just" food-addicted, a fat greedy pig, because she has found food-wrappers on several occasions.
    5. Funny, I decided 2 hours ago I am going to make a change from now on. I have been trying for the past 2 weeks to decrease my binging/purging, but today it really hit me how out of control I am, and I am determined to make a change.
"Every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa the bad things don't always spoil the good things and make them unimportant."

    1. how old were you when you first started purging? First attempted not very (succesfully) at around 13, purged occasionally throughout the years but mainly binged/restricted. Relapsed and been purging regularly for about 16months

    2. how many days/months/years have you been bulimic? 14years (with some periods of recovery)

    3. on average how many times a day/week do you purge?
Currently in a restricting phase so maybe once a week but when in a bad b/p phase and have the chance up to 3 times a day

    4. does anyone know, if so, have they done anything to help?
My husband, a few close friends - they try to help but it's difficult...

    5. do you plan to mak a change and stop any time soon? (be honest.)
I am just starting treatment with the NHS so yes, however when I am in a restrictive phase I don't want to stop as much as when I am b/p'ing all the time...
Good (no b/p & normal (ish) intake): not so good (purge):not good (b/p) : Restriction
