For a couple of years I only lost weight when restricting. When I was b/p I only maintained or gained a bit, even when I was restricting when not b/p.
And this year I don't know why but I lost a lot of weight while still b/p every day (but restricting most of the day), from a bmi 20 to a bmi 16.

I almost always lose or maintain when I b/p... which is every day. I got to my lowest weight that way and only gained because I did it intentionally for a surgery I needed to have (my doctor lectured me because of anesthesia risks and low body weight, so I didn't have a choice -.-) Anyway, I eat a semi-normal amount of calories when I'm not b/ping... I just get every bit of binge food out and make sure I never exceed my body's calorie requirements in terms of what I choose to keep down. So far, science is winning this one and my weight shows it.

Highest BMI was 25 with BED/COE, my BMI when I just restricted was usually around 20, and since I began b/ping my lowest BMI was 18 and I'm a little less than 18.5 right now.

i've been bulimic for quite some time and have lost zero pounds.
if anything i go up and down about 5 pounds, but i always stay the same.
even if i purge every single thing i eat.
my body and my metabolism are just shot.

I usually just maintain with bulimia, never lose. In fact, the past couple of weeks I've been eating a low-healthy amount (around 1600 calories when I exercise) and I've lost a few pounds since then. However, I did gain a bit from bulimia because I stopped purging properly, and my binges were monstrous ... I gained 10lbs in a month. It's still not off, but I'm hoping that once I kick bulimia in the ass, it'll come off easily.

To be honest, when I first started purging after starving myself for a while, I lost weight. But it was hands-free purging and I'm thinking my body just didn't want to digest all the stuff it was being given or something (muscle weakness?) and so... it was very easy. I've been very underweight while bingeing and purging, although it didn't really last for me. After a year or so, weight started piling on as purging got more lax and the previous anorexic must-get-everything-out dwindled to 'effective' purging, to is-that-most-of-it? to well-i've-puked-a-fair-bit... but better keep eating. I'm not good enough at puking anymore to binge and purge and not gain weight. Also, as a bingeing and purging anorexic before being hospitalised first time 'round, a lot of it would be eat a bit, purge, eat a bit, purge. I wasn't so inclined to binge on massive amounts, purge a bit just to create room and keep eating... which when I started doing way too often, yeah... I gained weight.

I lost weight from it, but once in a while i end up gaining for whatever reason. I don't usually weigh myself though, i go by what i see in the mirror, if my stomach looks flatter and thighs look thinner and all that. Most people do gain weight from it though.

When I was doing it ages ago, it was a combination of maintenance and weight gain.
You can not imagine the immensity of the fuck I do not give.

I lost, I was binging/purging and eating absolutely nothing inbetween. But now I moved back home for treatment and I restrict and binge and purge.. My weight has not changed hardly an ounce!

    I lost weight at first.
I lost a lot actually. Like, I went from 137 to about 107 lbs.
But after being hospitalized a few weeks ago for a "perceived" eating disorder, I've gained about 7 pounds or so. I convinced them I didn't have one, and I'm on my way back down again but I have less motivation to b/p like I did before. Like, right now I'm contemplating b/ping right now.
I think I'm going to win this time. Because I'm seeing all these posts on weight gain.
    Gaining control back.
    One day at a time.

Right now I'm gaining because I eat normally when I'm not b/ping. But if I'm starving/restricting at the same time I lose.
