Default -TW- What are your habits that aren't 'typical bulimic'?

    I have 2~

You know that 'stereotypical' thing about bulimics shoving their fingers down their throat in front of a toilet?

    1. I cannot, under any circumstances, purge by shoving something down my throat~ it's hard to explain, but I have to induce/wait for the food to just come up~
(hope that wasn't like, giving tips...?)

    2. I dislike purging in toilets~ in public places there's really no choice~ but at home I really just prefer the bath~

    What are yours?

The bath! lol.. that could clog up your pipes! Do you regularly put down products that would unclog them?

-I do it in my room so i don't hog the bathroom

    Can't think of anything else.

Oh right i get you! Felt the same about my house too, i was doing it in the sink when i first started as i couldn't do it any other way.. And the metal part that lifted up the plug (its one of those daft modern things) totally eroded away after a year or two! Makes you wonder don't it.

I don't know if this is atypical... but I used to (for most of my time being bulimic) only try to purge what I felt was "excesive", so in my mind I was trying to be as healthy as I could by not completely depriving myself of food.

Oh, and in public places I can wait 30-45 'till there's nobody there, even if I'm really anxious about purging. I try to avoid purging in the shower not because of fear of clogging it, but because I've found it's more debilitating for me somehow...

I don't really restrict (actively) when I'm not b/ping. I try and eat a healthy amount ... a little lower than my expenditure rate to get a deficit, but overall I get a really healthy diet when I'm not b/ping.

I tend to sort of shake my left leg while purging. It's so stupid, but it's on purpose, like I am moving to the beat of a song. Today I thought it would be "fun" to try and not shake my leg, but upon stopping my first thought was "omg, what if I get out less because I stop that... better do it though, just in case..."

Oh and I tend to binge while I am on my laptop. It just annoys me to have nothing to do while binging. Sometimes I binge in the kitchen, and then I read the paper. I just need something to do while binging.
