    Default Aummptions of others

(I'm not sure if there is a thread like this, but I'm posting it anyway)

Sometimes I judge people and question if anyone has an eating disorder. I see if they're thing or if they'd be one to purge. My assumptions are swept away if I see them eating or drinking something (i.e. naked juice smoothie).

Weirdly enough I am happy that they probably don't have an eating disorder. Maybe I'm an elitist with this. But I judge people all the time on whether or not they have an eating disorder. (I do this with self-harm too, i.e. seeing someone in shorts and tank top or something).

Is anyone else like this? Does anyone else do this?

when ii first met my boyfriend, before we started dating i thought he had an ed cause he never ate.
he still freaks me out a bit becaue he says he used to b/p
and every time he goes to the bathroom he turns the fan on and takes longer than most boys do...
    im always worried he's purging...

You'd totally never peg me as EDNOS or a cutter then, haha. When I do eat normally, it's pretty much only when I'm with other people (opposite of most people, I know). I also used to cut my wrists, I now wear short sleeves (I only have a few scars, not really noticeable). I also have scars on my thighs but wear shorts (most of the scars are high enough to be hidden).

But when I see super skinny people I almost always wonder if they have an ED.

Whenever I see a girl who is really skinny I try to figure out if it's because of an ED or something and I'd prefer if it is because I feel for her and her struggle but if she's one of those lucky ones who can eat whatever and still be small I get sad because I wish I didn't have to worry so much about food, but I do because eating a grape can gain me 10 lbs.
