I only eat junk food.(TW?)
Seriously. Even when I'm restricting <400 all I eat is junk food, in small amounts. I hate healthy food.
Serious some of my usual meals are like:
-Microwave meals full of salt
-A mini chocolate bar (like they give out during Halloween)
-Some candy
-A handful of chips
-A cookie
-A pizza pocket
Am I the only one? :/ I feel gross haha... I just don't care about my health, even sodium/fat content, only calories.5'6

No you're not alone.
I tend to eat 'comfort' or 'convenience' or 'junk food' when I do eat.
My t just shakes his head at my food diary and goes, "well I see you're not a vegetarian for the nutritional benefits...."
-shrug-
I mean I have phases where I'll be really healthy and its all fruits and vegetables and protein
but I think I have a weird self-punishment thing going on where I feel bad so i eat bad and justify why i feel bad?
I'm still working on sorting that outxNik

you are definitely not the only one. i always kinda feel like a wana because i'm not the kind of person who gets really into the cal/carb/fat content of things. i know if i did i would obsess insanely over it. so i just try to eat minimal amounts of food. which tends to be junk food. or just straight up candy/chocolate/whatever i've baked recently. it makes me feel SOOO gross.

I'm the same. When I'm restricting, I tend to stick to cuppa soups or those just-add-water pasta-in-a-mug type things (they're called mugshots), and then I'll meticulously weigh out crips or chocolate or something else equally junkish according to calorie content... Sometimes it makes me feel like I'm binging, even if I'm only having 300 calories altogether.

Everybody likes different things....I would be orthorexic if i ate more
but that's my deal.
You can never put your life in another persons hands . Why you ask? Because humans are not perfect , eventually in one way or another they will let you down ; its not sad it just is. I only I am the master of my domain , wherever I am now I put myself here.

Yeah, I pay more attention to calories than to the actual quality of food. I have tons of "convenience" food in my freezer right now (Lean Cuisines, etc), I know it's processed garbage but the calories are low enough for me that I really don't care.

I am the same way. I pay more attention to calories than anything else. I would also go crazy if I I kept track of everything else. I know sometimes I see the fat content and am put off by it.
I do try to eat healthy, and wish I could, but I always have this weird craving for carbs. So I eat way too many of them. I just feel like I am piling on junk food all the time.I have too many disorders.

Yup, I also felt like I'd drive myself insane if I started to pay attention to anything other than calories... I've done it a few times, and I become obsessed very quickly so I stopped.
Now though I don't think I would, I just don't care. I could eat pure lard as long as it's below my calorie limit for the day.5'6

Im glad I'm not the only one! lol like, I tend to restrict to about 300cals but it will all be junk. A mini chocolate bar, a small packet of crisps, a cereal bar...ha then I feel like im not depriving myself so it helps prevent a binge. And I just find it more filling :/ x

*hyperventilates* hahaha
This is coming from me, but i don't see a point in having a meal with not a scrap of fresh veg on.. i just don't like it or even see it as tasty or convenient! that is totally me though.
But there are people that run totally fine from junk food. Michael Phelps for example eats about 10,000 calories in a day of food with very little veg at all.. like fried breakfasts.. pasta... sandwiches.. pizza.. energy drinks; not even wholemeal things. He's an olympia and he seems to be doing just fine.
Just gonna chuck in a word of advice because i can't help myself being a health freak un all:
I'm not sure what microwave meals you're having exactly, but you can easily make them all yourself. I think that once you get in the hang of making your own meals, you won't even find micro meals appetising at all. You also could be saving yourself a fair bit of money and get a better gist of value of things.
Snack on a piece of fruit every now and again. Fruit and veg will be nasty at first if you don't like them, it's something you need to build a habit of liking by eating it. Kind of like training your body to like it.
I had to google the pizza pockets.. first i think i felt sick from looking but now i'm like 'hmm.. not bad.. not bad at all..' just like a pizza but folded up. If it's a normal pizza i'd say top it with more veg and cook it, but for something like this i'd say chuck a salad next to it
