    Default Scared of going downstairs...

Today wasn't a particularly good day for my bp... I'm really trying to recover, but I literally can't consume the tiniest amount of food (even safe food!) without going on full bp mode.

I am really bored and can't sleep... I want to go watch TV downstairs but I'm so afraid to going near the kitchen... I already have in mind what I can possibly eat if I go downstairs...

I'm like this when i go home.. if you're going to b/p, i'd recommend you cook something, whether its porridge or pasta. something really filling. You'd probably save on the calories if you'd b/p anyway.
Or you can watch tv on your laptop/pc.

Thanks for the advice. I'm glad to say that I resisted the urge the whole night, I can't believe it. Yesterday was a completely different story... but at least it was a mini victory for me, lol.

Awe dear. I know what you are talking about. Is there someone to tell who can help you not binge?

Thanks for your concern and kind response.

Unfortunately, no. This forum is my only place to talk about my ED. A couple of days ago, when I wrote this thread, it actually helped me staying away from the kitchen, somehow

But today was awful again. I just want to lock myself inside the room. I can't even stand from the bed without my feet starting to head to the kitchen. It's horrible.

on the plus side, you are aware that the kitchen is where your habit is the worst, and you're avoiding it.
    that's always a good sign.
sometimes people don't even realize what triggers them, which is when it can spiral out of control.
when there's no way out; the only way out is to give in.

    Perhaps..

In the morning, go in there and have it written on a paper what foods you will take out for the whole day. Safe foods you can eat.. I mean I know that it can still trigger a binge, but take the foods and swear to not enter the kitchen again. Picture red WARNING tape on the kitchen doorways, pretend walking through the doorway will shock you.

Then you can eat what you took in safety, security, and maybe even peace.
