Is initital gain permanent? TW numbers
So...I know I don't post on here much, but this is sorta freaking me out.
I've gone from eating ~300 - 500 cal to 1700 - 2000 cal in a week depending on activity level which is supposed to be my maintenance at 5'6.5 and 106 lb (formerly) and I've gained about five lbs since that.
I'm not super bloated or anything, so how do I tell if it's real fat or just water weight? And how do I know if I'll keep gaining or not? And what do I do if it doesn't stop?
Sorry, this is just scaring me a lot.

I'm In the same boat as you, I have been told by my therapist that it will take a while for your body to get used to eating and take a while for your weight to settle down,
I am having serious bloating at the moment so that's not helping.
Hope this is of some help xStarted Recovery 12th August 2011

Your metabolism will take some time to adjust. In regards to your fear as to whether or not you'll keep gaining and never stop, google 'set point theory'.
