    Default I can't cry

I can't remember the last time I cried, but it had to be over 5 years ago. I've been trying to cry for a year now. Just let it all out. But no matter how much I suffer I can't shed a tear. I even tried cutting onions to start crying, but they didn't help at all.
Does anyone have some tips? Also, will it feel good?

I don't even know what to say to this really; not much atleast.
Some people just don't cry, probably because:
-they've been through so much shit that they just don't even need to anymore
-whatever it is that is making them sad isn't making them sad enough
-people deal with emotions internally than externally (you could be feeling phisical, body pain like weakness)
-your emotions are numb; frozen solid; they have no need to work, no matter how depressed or sad you are

    just from what I know.
    I'm insane,
    And I fuck great danes.

Apathy. That's what it is. You feel like you can't cry, cant laugh. Like you have no emoctions. I have no bloody ears, evan if I want to cry, ill never will.
Though you may feel like nothing affects you, you'll eventually get over it. I know that for some people crying releases and cleans out the nasty thoghs & shit, but not for all.
Try to take care of yourself even though you are having a hard time. Good luck!

I can't cry either so I know how you feel. It's hard, I feel better when I cry but I can't. This fucking frustrates me. I hope we can both cry again one day!!!

    Mines from my personality disorder.

My godchild died not so long ago, I just can't cry. Sometimes I fake cry in situations because not crying is inappropriate at some points!

That's so sad. I'm sorry for your loss.
What personality disorder is it? i'm scared of a close one dieing, like my brothers or parent, and i'm unable to cry and how bad i'm gonna feel when i don't feel anything by it. I didn't cry when my grand dad died, or when this man who was like a really close grand dad to me that i practically grew up with. I loved them both, but i've never shed a tear and it's like it's never phased me. Hate it so.

I loathe those situations. Like you have to make your sorrow for beloved one legitimate..

This happens to me too...I've been through so much that I only cry when something really hurts me, when something I had/have hope in seems stifling...Like the other day, I was in bed trying to sleep and then something that's been happening suddenly hit me...and I started crying and had to go to the bathroom in fear that someone might hear me.
