    Default yoga v pilates..?

    which is better?
    and by better, i mean, which tones your body quicker?
    some people do both don't they..?
    i just don't know if i could right now haha!

    Pilates, because you are moving your body around more instead of staying in one pose for a while. There is such thing called power yoga that could get the same results as pilates. And there is also yogalates (spell?) that combines the two.

    In my opinion to my understanding, pilates would tone faster. But as you slowly tone with yoga you are also increasing your balance, flexibility, and posture which pilates will only slowly help.

    I would say both, because they compliment each other, you can't do effective pilates without flexibility, and you can gain flexibility from Yoga.
