Why aren't I losing weight?
I'm not asking for tips here, I just want to hear if anyone has anything to say.
A new years resolution of mine has been to lose weight. So ever since the new year I've only had about one or two meals a day, which is usually lunch and dinner because since I'm living at home until the summer, it's hard to skip dinner without my mom getting mad about it. I drink sometimes at weekends, and have gotten shit-faced drunk two weekends this January, and I know alcohol contains a lot of calories.
I try to limit it down to 500kcal a day, and I NEED to lose weight. I am disgusted by myself and I'm scared to hell that my boyfriend will leave me and suddenly figure out that I'm too fat or something like that, and I have a lot of nightmares about it.
So after two weeks now, I haven't really lost anything. When will I start to see some progress? I try to exercise at least 15 minutes a day, 10min cycling and 6 minutes with a weighted fitness hula hoop (2kg) but I often skip exercise because school tires me out and I need my 10hours of sleep.Last edited by The Bright Side; 01-17-2012 at 08:06 AM. *This post should be moved to a different area
Firstly you should not skip breakfast, if your going to skip meals breakfast shouldnt be one of them.
There is no easy fix, if you want to lose weight get up off your butt and do some exercise its simple.
Since the begining of the year I have lost 14lbs by eating a low calorie diet (I dont skip meals and i dont snack between meals) and i exercise about half an hour 4 times a week. The weight loss has slowed now so i have to work harder.Last edited by f-g; 01-17-2012 at 07:28 AM.

How many meals do you approx eat a day? And what do you eat?

try consuming about 1200 calories worth of fruit and veg a day with about 40 minutes of running a day

Actually m'dear, you are asking for tips. Perhaps you're not blatantly saying "Give me tips" but by describing what you're consuming and asking people to respond to it, you're either asking for an insult on the fact that you're treating an eating disorder like a fad diet or you're asking for tips on how to lose weight. I mean seriously, why would you have come on to an eating disorder forum to seek weight loss advice?
