What kind of Meds are you on???
Ive been on prozac for like 5 years now. I love it... when it's working. But one of the side affects are I CANT SLEEP!! I work every morning at 5:45am and work at night usually until 11pm. So im exhausted when i get home.. but of course cant sleep.
Anyone on anything else that doesnt affect your sleep!?!?

Yeh I know what you're talking about, I'm on prozac aswell and the insomnia sucks! I also take ativan and stilnox/ambien. Ativan helps alot with my anxiety throughout the day, and the combination of stilnox and ativan at night actually helps me sleep very well.

I'm on metformin, but that's for my diabetes. It kind of sucks though, it often gives me digestive problems and makes me run to the bathroom sometimes. In a way that's helpful because I don't feel hungry if my meds are making me queasy.

I also take Prozac but I don't have insomnia from it fortunately. unfortunately the Prozac has stopped working and I take it for depression. so I have to see the shrink again to change it. I also take an anti-psychotic called Invega for psychosis I had that I don't really want to get into
...I take Sprintec to control a bleeding disorder I have and I also take Restoril to help me sleep.
I'll get by, I'll survive

I used to take anti-depressants and anti-psychotics and I can't say they helped me at all. I pretended to get better so I could come off them, but I have to admit I'm still depressed I guess, just not so much that I'm suicidal or can't go to work. I studied Bhuddism, just by random chance because I was so bored, and discovered some things about myself that helped me become much more resilient and didn't really feel so bad all the time anymore.

Escitalopram and pregabalin for anxiety, mirtazapine to help me sleep.

I'm on lorazepam and Wellbutrin. It's odd because Wellbutrin is NOT supposed to be for people with EDs because it can give us seizures somehow. My doctor knows, but he gave me a high 300mg a day dose O_o
I take Lorazepam for panic attacks and Wellbutrin for major depression/severe anxiety/and possible ADD.
And it's a stimulant anti-depressant...which is scary because I'm an upper junkie and I don't know if I should be taking my poppers etc because I'm terrified of giving myself a heart attack :/
God, I hope I don't get a seizure...that would suck.
Lorazepam PUTS you to sleep (its a benzo like vallium) and Wellbutrin can keep you up, but I know it causes loss of appetite. In Plaster by Sylvia Plath
I shall never get out of this! There are two of me now:
This new absolutely white person and the old yellow one,
And the white person is certainly the superior one.
She doesn't need food, she is one of the real saints.
At the beginning I hated her, she had no personality --
She lay in bed with me like a dead body
And I was scared, because she was shaped just the way I was.

My Dr. said it's the electrolyte imbalances that cause complications (seizures) with Wellbutrin. Lorazepam and Ativan are the same thing, I've been on a cycle between that, clonazepam, and diazepam (valium) for the past several years to help with anxiety and sleep disorders.
My sleep disorder is kinda hopeless, though, I've been on pretty much everything for it and the only thing that worked also made me want to kill myself 'cause I was trapped in my own head
yuck.
right now I'm on clonazepam for sleep/anxiety & supeudol (oxycodone) for my messed up leg. and ventolin for asthma.
Just got off remerol (sp?) as a failed SSRI attempt. Starting new SNRI (dunno which one other than that it isn't effexor, thank god) next.
thing about medication is that it can take forever to find the right ones. I've been trying different stuff over the span of like... eight years or so.
What sucks is that wellbutrin is one of the ones that did more good than bad for my anxiety/dissociative, but now I can't take it because I have a puking problem. Bluh.
