weird sleeping patterns... can anyone associate or give healthy tips?
I can't sleep... It will most probably be the same tomorrow... it doesn't matter if I restrict or not, if I starve myself a little or had a non-stop b/p period...
Mostly I sleep a little in the early evening because I'm so tired and don't want to be confronted with certain things.
Alnost every time I have slept, I was hungry. (I get very tired after eating and often go to bed. But when I wake up just an hour later or so later it feels like I didn't eat at all and I'm peckish for no good reason)
Thoughts over thoughts and weird dreams just force me to stay awake... And I need to get up early tomorrow... *sigh*
Can someone explain to me why I feel so hungry after waking up regardless long sleep or short nap?
And what do you do if you can't sleep because Ed decided to deprive you of sleep?I don't go up to you and tell you you’re fat and need to diet, you don't have the right to tell me I'm skinny and need to eat.

I don't really have a answer for you that you might like or that others will agree on but what your explaining sounds a lot like SAD. I know a lot of people who are going through the same thing right now and they don't have ED's at all. But I don't have much to back it up other than people I know who are going through this same thing have SAD. (Seasonal affective disorder)

One word. Benzodiazepines.
I hadn't slept in days. Got prescribed benzos (temazepam) and voila!"You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection"

Careful, they're addictive. It's better to get a temporary sleeping pill that you only have to take for around 14 days to kick you back into a normal sleeping pattern. If you eat a lot of sugar/caffeine and carbs that can affect your sleeping.
The reason why you're so hungry after a sleep if because it's when your cravings are at their highest peak and your body wants something. This happens to me all the time!Dissociative Identity Disorder

try 5htp. its natural i think and it helps to boost serotonin levels.
you take it at night before bed,
dont take it during the day because on an empty stomache it will make you feel like complete shit,
and its like a mood boost, and an energy boost.
not sure if it will help with your sleepiing,
but i find it helpful when i spent the weekend partying or whatnot and need energy for work in the morning.

ohw, hey thank you people
I didn't expect any more answers... it's a nice surprise to return to this thread with a few new comments. I will try to look for 5htp and might try it, thank you
And Elzie, you are probably right... I eat far too many carbs in my diet, but as a Vegetarian it's difficult to find more protein than carbs and my body craves carbs a lot... I don't know why but it just does... also sugar addiction has followed me through my whole life so far.
Just a few hours ago I had a sugar-crash(researched it) and felt like shit. I fell asleep eventually and now I am wide awake again... I just have to be careful with what I eat and try to cut the carbs and sugar. I don't consume much caffeine, only in the day time when I'm in a good mood and that's when I don't sleep anyway.I don't go up to you and tell you you’re fat and need to diet, you don't have the right to tell me I'm skinny and need to eat.
