Demons or hallucinations?
So, awhile back there was a demon in my dorm room. It was late at night and I was trying to go back to sleep (got up to to the bathroom), then I felt something sit on my bed next to me touching my side. I also saw it's long black claw reach into a gap in the covers I had pulled over my head. I also saw the eyes of a picture I drew moving to stare at me, also the picture shifted it's weight. I tore the picture off the wall and into pieces and spent the rest of the night praying, calming down a bit than seeing/hearing more scary stuff, than praying again.
I am certain that I was not sleeping, it was too real, but maybe I was hallucinating?
I have been staying at my mom's as it's break but I have to go back to my dorm in a week or so and am afraid the demon will still be there as it was right before break that it showed up.
Some background: I am in my 20's and have been hearing voices (some nasty, most ok) for as long as I can remember. I have been told that walls, and other inanimate objects are not supposed to talk but they do. I have been told by others that some of the conclusions I jump to are irrational and extremely paranoid. I have mood swings (really hipper/ happy/ invincible/ powerful for a couple days and other times suicidally depressed) and I disassociate from time to time.Their are no sides; the world is round.

ok this is where i can help a little since i'm used to the un~ordinary!? that's a word right?? xP
i use another forum that is all about some really crazy shit and i've seen this loads of times. forget that tho, my personal opinion might be a bit nuts so i'm not saying anything yet.
i believe in some weird things, it's only cuz i've had some weird experiences and i sometimes blamed them on my mental health but i know for fact that i'm not that mental and that i'm not always alone in my house when everybody is out.
are you religious?? i guess you are since you pray.

If you told this to a shrink, they'd ask if it was late at night. This is because when everything is dark and when you're settled your mind can play tricks on you. I am not saying this is what happened, I'm saying this is what they'd say.
They'd also ask you how you hear the voices. If you hear them like they're in your head, it's just a subconcious and it's nothing mentally to worry about. Go to the dr for an eeg scan. They can tell whether you hear voices other people can't!Are you an astronaut? Cos your vagina is a black hole.

Hallucinations can seem very real.

I am religious, but in a more spiritual and mystic way. Ya, I believe in some crazy shit too... it's just nicer to think it was a hallucination :/ It was late at night/early in the morning(2am-5am). I hear both kinds of voices. Most of the nice/ok ones are inside head voices, like a song stuck in your head. The ones that are out side of my head voices (others don't hear them, but they are like someone is speaking, a very creepy someone) are usually nasty and scare me, but they are thankfully much rarer, maybe once every month or two?

I experience almost the *exact* same things as you. It is REALLY frightening. Demons are scary, and same- it usually happens to me when I get up to go to the toilet at night or when I'm trying to get to sleep or something.
I hear voices too, but I think they're just my alters.
