I haven't seen Manic before; i'll have to give that a watch soon.
Trying to think of other films set in psychiatric hospitals... actually, the Korean film I'm a Cyborg, but That's OK is pretty good. It's not exactly going for realism in its portrayal, but it's poignant and entertaining; it can be kind of silly at times, but I really liked it.“Doctor, you don't know what it is to doubt everything, even yourself.
