Insomnia
So I've often heard that restricting causes insomnia, and recently I've been eating a lot less than usual, and I find that I can't sleep... I just find that strange though, it makes more sense to me that with fewer calories should come less energy, therefore making you sleep more. Even if I feel tired and hungry all day, I still lie in bed for an hour at least before falling asleep. Why does this happen?

think its something to do with melatonin production, the body needs fuel to produce it so you done eat then sleep becomes ever so interesting... (correct me if im wrong)
ED and PD tells me i should be mean to those deserving of it...
it tells me to be nice to those who i like xx
love me, hate me i dont give a f**k =]

I've always been told that when your body is starving, the number one priority to stay alive is food, not sleep.
ALthough this seems incredibly simplified, and seems to me that after awhile in starvation mode, your body would start trying to sleep to conserve energy... but it makes sense.I don't want to be a product of my environment. I want my environment to be a product of me.
Thank you for letting me share.

Personally, I do sleep more because of the low energy thing, like you said. Insomnia is an issue even when I'm not restricting and I think has more to do with my anxiety than anything else so idk.
