yes, I have to have the same number of cuts on each leg. it didn't start out that way, it just happened at first I had four on each from one episode, then I had another one a couple weeks later where I did two on one, but I didn't feel complete and still had the urge to cut, so I did two on the other, and it made me feel better. this is probably my anxiety/ocd though, and its wierd because it's only on my legs. all my cuts on my arms are on the left one except for one

I use numbers as way to keep myself safe and stop myself from going overboard. I sort of have a number in my head set out before I go ahead, in the hope that by the time I reach that number I will feel like I have come to some sort of resolution. It's not the best way of controlling my cutting but it's one of my absolute last resorts to reign in some controll over my emotions.

I go with 9. I was so down once, I asked a friend to pick a number between 1 and 10...He picked 9. So now whenever I cut it's always a session of 9.

I've never counted my scars so I highly doubt it.

Always on my thighs. It depends. Either 3 really deep cuts, or between 3 and 9 deep cuts depending on how bad it is.

I don't use numbers, but I draw boxes on myself before I get my blades out, and I'm only allowed to cut in those boxes. It stops me going overboard, and keeps me in areas I can hide easily.
