That's an obvious statement. Depression is the basis of many things.
You can not imagine the immensity of the fuck I do not give.

Actually, I feel more like BED caused me a sort of depression.

This is a classic causation vrs. correlation argument. It is clear that there is a correlation between all eating disorders and depression but it is difficult to prove which comes first. Personally I have found that depression is a symptom of my eating disorder and not the other way around.

I am an NYU freshman, I'v had an eating disorder for more than 6 years and I still believe that every day is a new chance to get it right.

For me stress was the cause, plus I have a tendency to be obsessive and I guess most of the time I think about food and that leads me to binge, plus loneliness. Any sadness/depression tends to come from the guilt of binging....
