    Question Compulsive Calorie Counting?

I know it's a general ED thing, but does anybody else count their calories like a million times a day? I have myself planned out a week ahead and check my diet journal several times a day to see what my subtotal is.

Oh yes, all the time, even though I eat the exactly same everyday, I still have to check all the time

I have to do it. I'll check labels all the time. And round up my calories. I hate how the labels can be like 20% incorrect. There are some food in ethnic stores that have pretty accurate labels which I love it, but I love ethnic food anyway. But I even count calories that my fiance takes in and sadly also what my 2 year old consumes.

Same here. I do count calories over and over again. And round up.
It somehow helps me not to binge: not knowing my exact intake was such a strong trigger... Not saying that counting cals stops the cravings, but I don't mind doing it since I'm really determined to stop b/p'ing.

Ugh, I count calories again and again. And re-check labels just in case, and also round up just in case they're correct. I especially like to count calories as I eat because it makes me feel more comfortable. And then when I lie in bed at night I count it all up, and calculate how much I'll weigh in 5 weeks if I ate that same amount every day thanks (Or no thanks) to the myfitnesspal app on my phone. And I work in a fast food restaurant, and I calculate the calories that customers order too.

I should have never, ever got that app...
