It totally depends how much you "clean" out your mouth. It has to be way less than half though, I mean if you look at all the food you spit out...If you rinse with water after every bite and make sure not to swallow at all while chewing, very few...

I count c/s calories as null. It depends on what's happening OUTSIDE of the c/s whether your weight goes up or down...Are you over eating, eating normal, undereating? This is what effects your weight. Science.
Sources: I c/s'ed half a box of macaroons and my weight is unaffected
soooo expeeeeensive though ;__; and can trigger binges!
If there was no death, everyone would wish for it.

I've been doing c/s for several months now, and I can definitely say it affects your weight. I noticed a weight gain in the first week of c/s'ing and have had incredible difficulty keeping weight off with this habit.
It's horrible because it truly is addicting...once I start, I can go through all the food in my fridge, wasting everything and still taking in calories, which then leads me to restrict my intake the rest of the day. And, despite many tries, I simply cannot break the habit. Every time someone offers me candy/etc., I have to take it back to my room and c/s.

It sorta depends on what you eat , I mean if i chew a 30 calorie cookie then spit it out and if there's still some crumbs in my mouth..its not going to be alot of calories. I imagine maybe 1 or 2 , but I usually brush my teeth after to get the crumbs out ^^
You can never put your life in another persons hands . Why you ask? Because humans are not perfect , eventually in one way or another they will let you down ; its not sad it just is. I only I am the master of my domain , wherever I am now I put myself here.

Dietician here:
I am studying nutrition and working to become a registered dietician in college.
The truth is very few calories can be absorbed. Your body can, however, absorb some nutrients through your tongue and cheeks. Not many, though. Those nutrients can be translated into calories, but it is going to very a lot based on how long you chew it, how much your body absorbs, what you are eating, etc. There isn't a straight answer, but there is a lot of information on absorbing things through under your tongue. Allergy drops, those packets athletes use to give them immediate energy, etc.

People don't know how to anatomy.
All main absorption of calories happens in the SMALL INTESTINE. You can start breaking down carbs in your mouth but you will not absorb the calories unless the food gets to your stomach, then is broken down and released into your small intestine. The foodyoud get calories from that quickly would be like honey or something, or if stuff goes down to your stomach involuntarily, whic does happen sometimes.
So whatever goes down into your tummy,

I know that some nutrience are absorbed in the mouth (although minimal) but does saying nutrience translate into calories???? I mean, vitamins dont have calories, electrolytles and ions your body needs doesn't neccasarily have calories. Who knows if even when people dip a tampon in vodka and insert it, does that mean your getting calories (no for my own use or advising it at all) just saying, calories are a weird thing.

Looked in the bathroom stall
Your back against the wall.
Cold tiles beneath your knees,
Your body broke your fall.
Spitting into your own reflection gazing back
Inside your porcelain fists, your palms begin to crack
I'd love to have a few friends if anyone wants to let me know if they're interested to?

This is what they thought 60 years ago. Unfortunately, there's about 60 years of research undermining it. Reading textbooks always makes me cringe -- there's just so much wrong/outdated information in them.
The other thing is that most of the research in the past ten years indicates that hormones cause the feeling of "mental" cravings. Part of the problem was that until the 1990s, researchers treated fat as an inert substance when it's not. Neruoendocrinology is the place to be if you want to strike it rich by finding the anti-craving pill.
The rest of it is correct, though.

Hey! Yeah I hadn't had my endocrinology course yet when I wrote that back then, so yeah there probably are some inexact details.
Anyways, I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean by mental craving... I defined mental craving to the state mainly related to the limbic system (like addictions and stuff, I don't consider hyposensibility to leptin and fullness as ''mental'') To me, if it's related to hormone secretion by fat and other leptine, ghreline feedback mechanism to the brain, well it's physiologic hunger. Are we saying the same thing just in different words? If not, I'd love your input!
Edit : Typo mistake, I repeated a word twice and it was changing the meaning of the sentence...J'aimerais que la vie soit comme un conte de fée
