I have reached my highest weight in years and my eating has reached it's most disordered
I'm binging daily and purging when I can get away with it and it's only going to get worse
I feel completely alone and fat an uncomfortable in my body and I hate it so much
I don't want this any more but I can't see any way out

But you are not alone ! You have all of us and we all understand. For me, working to stop the bingeing was most important. I created a pause button list. If I want to binge, I put it on pause and do a different non destructive coping mechanism. I tell myself the binge is on pause. I'll just do some cleaning or pampering and try to feel the emotions that led me there.

Same here! I've managed to gain 12 pounds in a few months from bingeing and purging. Now I'm at my highest wait, and all my clothes feel tight on me. I feel fat too.

But you have to stop. At this moment. Don't wait for tomorrow. Do it now. Go take a long, hot shower. Get rid of all the dead skin from your body, and massage your scalp until your hair is shining. Shave your legs so that they're smooth and soft. And then put on your favorite clothes. Put on makeup or braid your hair. It always works for me, because taking a shower is always a new beginning. Wipe the slate clean and don't think about how many binges you've had in the past. Look at yourself and say, "I'm only going to get better from this day forward."

    Hope this helps!

Yeah I definitely find showers and general self care very therapeutic. I think sometimes when you are at your most disordered you can neglect yourself a lot and it kind of helps you to realise that your body is something good to be treated kindly rather than something distasteful and awful that you need to hurt and hate.
Thank you so much, I'm now 2 complete days binge free and on to my third. Thank you both for your support and sorry I didn't see your comments until now. Xx
