I just had the best meal ever...EVER!
it looked disgusting
Well,
it was
3 egg white-45 cals
slice of low fat cheese-30 cals
And I made them like you would make scrambled eggs.
and then I added a tablespoon of salsa-10 cals.
And I put it in a bowl, and it looked like a bowl of vomit.
But it was so yummy!
and only 85 cals!
Do you have any yummy low cal meals?
Please share. :]
Oh my gosh, I just had the best thing ever tonight for dinner! And it was sooo filling!
Egg drop soup, you've probably heard of it and maybe had it at a chinese restaurant before, but chinese restaurants load it up with oils and a bunch of stuff that makes it really high in calories. So I found a recipe that makes it low cal! Well maybe there's a ton out there, and I just found one, haha, but I was excited. It sounds nasty if you've never had it, but it's DELICIOUS.
You take two chicken bullion cubes (5 cals each) and boil them in two cups of water until they're dissolved. Keep them boiling, and then slowly pour in 2 egg whites (about 17 cals each) into the chicken bullion.
So it's a total of 44 calories for amazing egg drop soup. : ) Mmmm you should try it and let me know how you like it.
Oh, and sorry for the late reply. Haha.

One of my favorite meals is a little lame, but it tastes awesome (to me) and looks like a regular sized meal.
It's 1 cup of green beans (40 calories), 1 SmartDog (45 calories), and 1/2 piece vegan cheese (the kind I use is 20 calories per half slice). I add a teeny amount of onion and garlic powder while the SmartDog and green beans are cooking, then melt the cheese into it in little bits. :]

I just love vegetables.
Grab a bunch that can be easily cooked, e.g. beans, brocolli, capsicums, about 50 cals worth.
Add an egg white (15 cals) and stirfy this in a non stick pan (no oil needed) and add a dash of soy souce.

Hot pot is so delicious, if you watch what you put in it, it can be very very filling for under 100cal. It's fun to do with a group of friends!

i like to have a toasted slice of 40c bread with 60c of scrambled reddi-eggs. then you can use 0c butter to put on the toast and have some eggs on top of that. it's like 103c total and it's soo good and filling. it's pretty similar to sarahdarleen's meal, but instead of having salsa and cheese theres bread lol xo

My favourite recipes are low cal French toast (nealry same as lovebexs recipe) but I mix the egg white with some milk and soak the bread (toast) with that mixture , you can even mix some sweetener and lime juice into it, that makes the whole thing to a tasty sweet dessert. You can add some salt, syrup or anything you like, it is soooooo delicious and the basic recipe has just around 80 cals
second fav is milk"rice" made of cottage cheese mixed with some non-fat fresh cheese , sweetener and if you want cinnamon, cocoa powder or something like that.
cals depend on how much u eat^^ 3.5 oz have roughly 70 cals (depending on how much the cheese has^^)
Or you beat some egg whites (or even egg beaters, but i cant buy them here... -.-) and add some sweetener and spices like cinnamon, cocoa, and my fav is ginger bread spice :D (but its important you add them AFTER you beat it, otherwise it will beimpossible to beat it until stiff)
Well I am sure there is much more I like, I created many low cal recipes on my own :)

I love veggies... Alfalfa sprouts, romaine lettuce, spinach, mushroom... steamed
broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, zucchini celery... I like to eat them mixed in a "soup" (just tons of water and the veggies)
I didn't eat that a lot lately because it is so hot outside ; but I'm gonna be back to that when it will get cooler !
