Hi ladies!
So- I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm on day 2 of a pure waterfast, and already I'm feeling like shit. Yesterday I was at this party, but didn't drink one drop of alchohol (ofcourse, I'm on a waterfast! haha) but still I started throwing up all of this water! I'm feeling really dizzy, sick and really hungry (although I don't have any cravings at all, thank god!) I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for how to get rid of the nausia? And if not, has anyone got any tips for things to distract me from the hunger? Films, books, anything? Can't do any physichal activities, though.
I'd really, really, really appreciate any answers I can get. I really don't want to give up on this fast but right now I can't even see clearly. Everything is blurry and dark and I feel like I'm going to faint all the time! I've done this a thousand times before, but I've never felt like this. I just feel like I'm dying.
xx
...I really don't know what to say about that...
You're asking for tips preventing you from hunger but you tell us you have the feeling you're passing away...
My mind and habits tell me to give you some and my conscience and heart tell me something else...
You said you were used to do it and you never reacted like that before...Did you change anything? Or maybe it's your body who's begging you to stop and already tries to show it to you that way...for me it was that...
Know I haven't helped a lot...sorry. But I just wanted to react for you to see you're not alone and...yep. Take care xx
I dizzy a lot too, but usually it goes away
maybe some time off the water fast? like try a veggie juice or something with a few calories. I don't really know what else, I've yet to be at that point.

Thanks for responding, it's really a big help just to know that someone cares, you know.
I've actually switched over to a juice fast now, and I'm going to give the waterfast another try next week! I just think that what I did wrong was that I didn't prepare my body, you know? I had been pigging out for like two weeks and went straight on a waterfast. Still not feeling quite well but I can see again! (When I only saw a black field with pink/purple dots in my eyes, I just thought that I'd keep going for one more day to see if it got better, but it just got worse.)
I have a new question, though. You know that little bump you have at the bottom of your stomach? Does any of you know the exercises to get rid of that? I don't want to do crunches since it makes your stomach pout.
kisses!

I'm glad you switched to juice and you're feeling better. Pure water is killer and now it makes perfect sense why you were have such a rough start. If you go from eating loads of shit to pure water fasting, your body is going to go crazy--all the little micro organisms that life in your intestines and have gotten used to sugar, carbs, or fat are in there screaming for nutriants. It takes them a while to die--that's what detox does. You'll be fine if you go on juice for a while and then switch back to water.
Feel better.

1 cup of veggie juice a day would be very good for a water fast... just to keep an electrolyte balance. Tons of water without salt to balance the sodium balance WILL lead to headaches and the like.
Even some diet gatorade. Or diet soda. Or a little pure salt. You need some, and you'll feel better.

to exercise the bottom of your stomach, lie flat on your back with you arms by your sides and raise your legs off the floor, but only raise them a couple of inches. it sounds easy but try to hold yourself like that as long a you can and youl feel it burn!!

its great to do a cordial fast....i dont know where you;re from, but there is sugar free cordial here in aus that is 95% fruit. just chuck that in a massive water bottle and dilute it, and you can get through each day fine cos the sugar keeps you alert. the calories are nearly nothing, and it got me through my psych exam fine!
i'm really worried....you really need to ease into it....reduce calories day by day then o onto it?
you will lose muscle though.
