i am 21 and live at home with my family, i have to say that i have only just started really fasting etc but my mum has gotten really annoying. i just feel like she is constantly breathing down my neck about eating, she sometimes forces me to eat and cries if i dont. I cant hack it but i dont know how to get around it. At the moment i eat the minimal amount at meal times and exercise to work it off, it is working but i'm not sure how long it will be before she really starts nagging me again. Anyone have any advice as to how i can get her off my back?

sorry for the rant!

I'm in the same boat. The way I get my mom off my back is to say that I ate, you just didn't see me eat and then I go on about how I can't do every little daily task in front of her. But I usually go in that direction after my mother has yelled at me 50 times already to eat. And when I do eat she follows me to the bathroom. Fortunately, unemployment leaves me with the option to be nocturnal. So lately my approach is to get up around 4:30 PM in the afternoon and go to bed when she is leaving for work. That way I get some peace and quiet. But I'm not sure how long I can keep up the nocturnal state and probably wouldn't mind a little advice in this area as well.
