splenda is low calorie sweetener, you can get it in like tablet form to put in your tea or in sugar granule type form, which has about 2 cals a teaspoon :)

anddd i cant think of an alternative except you could use skimmed milk? or maybe low calorie soy milk. then it'd only be a couple of cals a cup, if you only used a little. you can get like coffee whitener but i dont know if its any lower calorie than milk... i'm going shopping later so i'll have a look as i could do with some too, i drink so much tea and coffee to fill me up and i dont like black coffee!

this is prolly the wrong place to post this, but it was titled "milk" so:
i'm actually thinking of drinking more milk.
i know it has kinda high calories, but if i drink milk or eat more yoghurt than i'll get more calcitriol, which is a hormone that (combined w/ calcium) encourages your body to burn more fat and shrinks fat cells, as well as strengthening your bones. we should be worried about osteoporosis.
anyway, what i'm saying is maybe you should spend some of your cals on dairy, because between the satisfying protein and the fat burning calcitriol it's prolly a really good diet food :p

ellecj1990 I totally disagree.. yeah, calcium would do that, not milk. you should eat vegetables high in calcium as milk is full of fat and hormones and it will make you fat.
please google about what milk was "invented" for... its to fatten up little cows.

I'd be inclined to agree. Also dairy is quite hard to digest, so for people taking in very little food anyway it'd be even harder. Tofu, spinach and chinese leaf are all fairly high in calcium. A lot of nuts and beans are too, but that might be a bit high calorie for a lot of people. Though ten almonds a day never hurt anyone ;)
