Just watched a great movie called Let the Right One In. It's about the sadder side of being a vampire and a great balance to the suave sexy Twilight stuff that people are into now.
On the surface, it's melancholic at best, and when you really think deeper into the circumstances, it's very sad. Yet there seemed to be room enough for a very innocent romance too.
I recommend it.
I'm fascinated with vampires because they all have EDs of their own; a very nasty ED that rules their lives forever. Sort of like mine only they crave people instead of donuts. So tragic.
