hi im veggie, have been for five years now (for a different reason i might add) but hey the more people stop eating animals the better as far as im concerned. u will find that being vegetarian will give u a-get-out-of-meal-free card when u eat out or with family. All so u will be amazed at how many foods aren't suitable for veggies - some cakes and spreads, crisps, sweets - all the bad foods u would normally avoid - now u have a legitimate reason not to eat them! oh and by simply cutting out the meat from your meal you are cutting like a third of your calories down! anyway, good for u! :)

I do the same thing except that I take it to the extreme that I'm a vegan. Sometimes I do only raw vegan. This makes it really simple to avoid meals and restaurants becuase other than fruits and veggies, there is very little you can eat. People know I'm a vegan so they don't say anything. My mom has noticed that I'm dropping a lot of weight and she's worried, but there is really little she can do about it.

u will now be suprised how many poeple u meet who are veggies, most of the models ive met in my life are all veggies too, i cut dairy out to, but have the occasional prawns (for a quik high protein very low cal snack), and choclate (if i binge) just watch the dairy, i only use soya milk the really nice low calorie vnilla one, good luck!!
