I love tea.
I love afternoon tea in a big cast iron teapot with nice white china cups and saucers with friends.
I love my morning tea with orange peel and hibiscus.
I love my evening valerian tea.
I love my inbetweeny tea of red berries or just simple redbush.
Am I an actual mental or tea-tastic? . . . . . (or after reading this post back, decidedly British and middle class sounding)

haha about the British!
I'm sure you're not the only one.
I LOOOVE tea as well...I drink it more than water!
I drink all the tea my uncle sends me from Germany (usually fruit), I love the Japanese green tea that my friend's parents bring for me (they make SPECIAL green Japanese tea because it's made, crafted I can even say, in that village by the Fuji mount), and I love usual Earl Gary with lemon, and I love Sage tea!
ah...ah all this tea talking made me want to get some tea now...*puts kettle on*

Big steaming mugs of tea are where it's at :) Camomile, peppermint, lemon and ginger (LOVE that one) or just good old Barry's tea with a dash of soymilk!
I'm from Ireland btw, I believe the only country apart from China to rival England in the tea consumption stakes :D
Peppermint tea is my absolute favorite, it's got to the point that I have a little pouch for the tea bags that I carry around college!! It's a good way to fight snack cravings when i'm in college and tastes amazing!!! Also boiled water is free so saves money double yay!! :D

I'm a big tea fan too. I don't like hot tea. But I go through at least 2 pitchers a day of iced herbal tea.
After a bad puking incident I hate green tea. Cranberry is my favorite followed by Celestial Seasonings mandarin orange spice and tropic of strawberry. I actually used to live next to the Celestial Seasonings plant. You can buy dirt cheap tea there. But sometimes the smell would be so strong it'd make me sick. I couldn't touch tea for the entire time I lived in that apartment.

I love tea! Iced tea, though. Not the warm British kind. :) Haha. Give me a big ol' glass of Texas sweet tea and I'm a happy girl.
Though, I can't have it while I'm whitening my teeth. :( But I still have my green tea.

Yay tea! :) *points to avatar*
I've been drinking it since I was about two years old -- my whole family is a little tea-obsessed. :P I usually drink loose-leaf tea these days; it's soooo much tastier than bagged tea. My personal favourite is a good strong Irish breakfast, with English breakfast and pure Assam coming in a close second. Though I never used to be the biggest fan in the past (mostly because I like my tea really strong), I've started to appreciate green and white teas as well. One of my friends and I got hugely into tea when we were in our teens and I've read and learnt just about everything under the sun about it: its history, production, consumption, traditions, etc. One of my dreams is to go to India and visit a tea estate someday. My fiancé and I have also talked about opening a tea house in the future; the funny thing is, he wasn't even much of a tea drinker till he met me -- he claims he just hadn't had properly-made tea till I showed him how, and now he's as much of a tea-freak as I am. :P

I drink Japanese teas, such as the ones found on O-Cha.com. They are uber fresh and certainly a higher quality than a teabag.
I love them too! there is this "roasted bancha twig tea" which I find absolutely fabulous.

Yay! I love tea! Loose leaf teas are best with flavor but I'm usually too lazy so I stick to tea bags xD. Some of my favorites are Yogi detox, jasmine, green tea, masala chai, vanilla rooibos, pomegranate, mango ceylon...the list goes on and on! Because tea is that awesome! =D

Yeah, that's the awesome thing about tea -- it's pretty much calorie-free. I don't like mine without anything in it (I mostly drink strong black tea, like Irish or English breakfast), so I just use Splenda and skim milk. Tastes amazing and is still low-cal. :)

I drink a cup every day, but does it really help you to lose weight? If you don't add anything is it guaranteed to be zero calories? How much do you have to drink for it to actually help you to lose weight? And is it only green tea that helps? Anyone have any answers...? THANX!!!

Can anyone ever enjoy anything without connecting it to weight/weight gain/weight loss? For goodness sakes... can't drinking a cup of tea just be about the fact that it tastes good? *sigh*

Tea makes me happy and is a quick distraction when I go in the kitchen. Instead of going for the bagels I just go in the cabinet above them and grab some tea. It always helps, plus its warm and delicious. My favorite has to be orange-spice (its a black tea).

I like tea too. Green and Black is what I usually drink. The flavored ones usually don't taste flavored to me, unless it's like a spice tea.

Good stuff.
I don't take black tea but i take green tea because i think green tea can boost your metabolism and it helps fight cancer. I think it is recommended to drink at least 3 or 4 cups a day.

Hi dear,
Green tea is more effective out of all kind of tea.
Green tea is very beneficial for the persons who want to lose the weight.
It burns the fat and reduces the extra weight. It also controls the cholesterol level.
It prevents from the heart diseases and keeps the skin fresh.

Ditto on the breakfast tea with skimmed soy milk. I wish I could get into herbal teas to cut the milk cals but they just don't do it for me like her majesty's finest!!
