Hi everyone,
I've been on a fast for almost 11 days now, with no food at all, nothing but gum, and diet drinks. I'm going to have to stop this fast eventually, but I'm scared to death to eat anything at all.

I've heard anything you eat after a fast your body will store it as fat...so what if I eat something with no fat like vegetables, the body can't store that as fat right? I'm kinda confused, any ideas on what are some foods I can eat that won't put the weight back on I lost?

Thanks,

I'm sorry but I have no idea. I'm having the same problem myself! My body has gone into starvation so I need to vary my intake, but as soon as I try I gain. xx

How much did you lose fasting that long? Just courious as I started a pure water fast yesterday.

When coming off a fast like yours, you should spend about half the time you fasted just doing veggie and fruit juices. Then move to Raw fruits and veggies (raw or steamed) for a few days before you move back to your usual intake. Your body will keep losing weight on juices and veg and fruit but if you start eating things like yogurt or cheese or anything crappy--your body will hang onto all of it for dear life. Whatever you do--resist the urge to binge as you will gain a ton back.

Well done you!

Thanks, that sounds like a good plan witht the veggies and stuff.

well I started out at 117 pounds and now I'm at 106 pounds, so like 11 pounds, in just under 11 days....not too bad I supose.

i'm so proud of you! Great job! I can't wait to see the scale start dropping rapidly again. people are starting to comment on how skinny I look but my mom is the only one that is starting to get worried about it. The good news is, there is nothing she can do about it!
