How do you delete a thread?

A moderator had asked me to delete my thread.
I was very confused. and didn't know how to.
So, Only you can delete threads?

I and super moderators can delete threads, i just added new super moderators...

Anyways, I am not sure what the thread was about, but your thread is only deleted if its offensive to other others, harmful into and against the rules and such...
