Have you ever tried to recover? or maybe been forced to recover?! if so, what was the least number of calories you were allowed to eat/day?

this info is going to be very halpful to me.

thanks!

ugh...
Don't remind me... ; (
Wasn't allowed to even wear clothes (only pj's), or barely even walk at one point unless I ate a minimum of 2,100 calories a day ; (
...
(If you are looking to recover... then good for you... and good luck!)

Yes, I tried to
I don't know how many cals I ate, Its not something I kept track of
I just kind of ate however much I felt like because everyone was watching me.

umh I've been to alot of places and done alot of different out patient programs but they usually have the same rules. as long as you need to gain weight it's 3000ish and if you are trying to maintain it's 2200kcal aday, but that is if you're not active at all, like when you are in hospital.. if you are at home, being fairly active and dont need to gain weight, it's 2500.
you might still gain some weight initially when your body is trying to find it's balance. or you might lose some, depends on your current weight.
But 2500 is usually recomened for people who wants to find their "setpointweight" and stay there.
Of course It's induvudual but this should work for most people.
Dont ever go below 2000kcal. You need to keep your metabolism going. If you throw more wood (calories) into the fire (your body), it's gonna burn alot more(calories are beeing burned faster).

I expected to hear something like:
anything between 700-1200 was considered good!! what the hell was I thinking??????????

You know what.. I'll let recovery goes to hell

now I know why people hate recovery! do you have to eat that much once you're admitted to the hospital? or you do it dradually?
