i just bought one of these today.
i know there was a thread about this a while back, but there wasnt really any answers. basically what i want to no is if anyone has tried it before, and how helpful is it when it comes to weight loss, its supposed to help you sweat more.
im going on my treadmill tonight and im going to wear it, im going to start wearing it everytime i workout and see if it actually helps me lose weight.
but i dont know, since it says helps you sweat more im thinking it just helps lose water weight.

i have used a sweat suit to cut water weight for a thai boxing competition.

they make u loose weight BUT only water weight, soon as u have a drink u will gain the weight back u loss. i only think sweat suits are useful for cuttin weight for a competition such as... boxing, body building, power lifting.
usually sports with weight catogories.

and it wont nessaceraliy (sorry am a awful speller) make u burn more calories.

it makes your heart rate increase a lot faster... and if you stay in it after, it'll stay up longer. so yeah, you'll burn (a few) more calories but be careful because you can get heat stroke. You can't work nearly as hard in a sweatsuit (because of your heart)

make sure you drink TONS of water if you do decide to use it. cuz otherwise you'll become dehydrated VERY quickly. A trick is to weigh yourself dry and naked before and after the exercise. If you weigh less than when you started, drink 1mL for every g you lost. (REALLY IMPORTANT!!!)
the idea is not to lose water weight here because that will just kill you slowly, but to lose fat. fat doesn't evaporate from your body instantly. it takes a while for the products' mass (leftovers from burning process) are expelled.

anyway, good luck with that.
