Hi I'm a newbie.

Question:

What's the most weight you've lost in 1 week's time? And any special tricks?

Recently I lost 7 lbs in 7 days. I know it would have been more, but I had 2 actual meals in that time frame.

My trick: coffee all day long. Love it. Addicted to it. =]

i'm addicted to coffee too. green tea is a close second.

the most weight i've lost in a week is just shy of 8 pounds. i went on a 10 day popcorn and diet coke fast. i averaged about 450 calories a day. i lost 8lbs by day 7 and then another 4lbs by day 10.

the good thing about fasting is that you can fast on almost anything (chocolate,ice cream, whatever) and eat almost unlimited quantities (within reason) and if you stick with it long enough you'll lose lots of weight. the bad thing is it's really easy to get bored within a few days.

I lost 10 pounds in 7 days a few weeks back, lived on black coffee and squash and a lot of exercise!
Problem is it worked for 7 days but then i just stopped losing.. annoying huh?

I've lost 10.5 pounds in seven days before just by living on diet pepsi & apple juice alone. 'Tis not to be easy, but skinny doesn't come without a price, does it?

i lost 9kg in just over 2 weeks, and i didnt fast. i ate a really low energy diet, mainly vegetables and some protein - from 400-900 calories a day. i felt great.

ive lost a total of 17kg in just under a year - mostly in short bouts, cause its easier. shame i ended up bulimic to keep the weight off.

funnily enough, i can keep the weight stable with bulimia, but every time ive lost weight ive had to stop b/p and go back on a healthy diet.

The most weight I lost in a week was 8 pounds. But I ate a maximum 800 calories and I purged if I went over that.

the most iv lost in a week has been 9lbs, that was on my -100 a day diet. id start the week on 600 cals, the next day have 500, the next day id have 400, 300, 200 and juice fast for the last 2 days. it really works, iv done it so many times just be careful not to binge on the 600 days!

Do you have a diet plan for this? Or did you just eat what was right at the time?


I lost six and a half pounds in a week from exercising like hell. And swapping an apple instead of other food for lunch

uhh my weight stays pretty stable. I like it being stable and not going up and down a lot. I dont really diet hard and stuff, so about 3 pounds. Then again, ive never gained more than 2 pounds/ month... even when i wasnt ednos and binged daily (3000 calories/day).. i was a growing girl :]

but now im done growing.. so i can watch what i eat better without worrying about it messing up my body lol.

on your popcorn fast, was the popcorn you ate the diet, nonbuttered nonsalted kind, or like a regular buttered salted popcorn? i've actually never heard about being able to fast with one food excepted and still lose... is it because your body just gets used to the one food??

this is the seventh day
and so far i've lost
12/13 pounds?
well, i binged and purged a couple of hours ago and i had lost 13 pounds in the 7 days
but i just weighed myself again and i had gained a pound?!
i assume it's from all the pepsi max i've just drank and will go down by tomorrow.
wednesday and thursday i ate and purged
friday saturday sunday and monday i didn't eat anything
today i absolutely binged
then purged
and once i had weighed myself, i had lost four more pounds since this morning?!
i don't think this weight loss will last too long though

Sadly i can't get to a gym at all
that was done without proper excercise
if you exclude the vast ammounts of walking i have to do per day
this is why i assume it mostly to be water weight :/
but hey, it's a start i guess
