I love reading about dreams and other people's dreams. so I thought it would be cool if we could post some of our dreams here...I had a weird one last night.

I was standing outside this shopping centre that's not far from my house, just watching cars go by. normally the store I was in front of sells clothes, but in the dream it sold vintage stuff like record players and dresses from the 1930's. I was thinking to myself how I really wish I had someone to look around with, when one of my friends comes moseying up. he and I talk about nothing for a little bit, and then we go inside. we're looking around, then we notice this little box where you can write secrets down on and drop them in to be posted around the store. he write something down, and it's something like "I am going to die". he didn't know I saw it, and I freaked out a little but didn't say anything. we walked around a little longer and then he left becuase someone was picking him up.

I waited a minute and then ran outside, becuase I wanted to ask him why he had written that on the card. but the car was already leaving, so I started running after it. it turned around but I walked back inside the store so he wouldn't see me, becuase I thought if I got rid of the card it wouldn't happen, and I found it in my pocket for some reason. I don't remember what happened after that.

weird haha.

When I was 8, or about 8, I dreamed that I was walking with my mother down a deserted street in the country with lots of big rolling hills that were just starting to turn brown with autumn. The sky was gray but not in a scary way. She was holding my hand and we stopped at a Burger King (lol think I have an eating problem?) and got food. I especially liked the hills, and the season. It was cold but there was an aura of warmth around my mother that kept us warm while we walked.

The dream was so pleasant because she was so healthy and beautiful and warm. My mother has schizophrenia and she's... gone. But in my dream, she was like I remembered when I was 4 years old before she got sick. The dream made me very sad. It was the 2 things I couldn't have: a healthy mother and burger king (because we were too poor for fast food, we ate mostly things like cereal and canned food, yuck). I'll never forget that deam.

The world was ending, sort of. It was the beginning of the end. I was in a store with a group of people I don't know, we were grabbing candy and stuff, whatever we could get our hands on and throwing it all into backpacks. Ran outside onto the footpath and there was a huge road with all these cars driving past really quickly. I looked up and the sky kept getting lower and lower, it was stormy and so beautiful. The clouds looked different because they were so close. And there were these reddish gold cliffs - kind of like clay, after it's fired - that were rising out of nowhere, and they were so high and the sky so low you couldn't see where they ended. I knew the sky would keep getting lower and lower until there was nothing, until Earth itself was nothing, but it all seemed quite natural at the time so I felt pretty calm about it all. There was people everywhere and I noticed a friend of mine passed out on the ground. I saw the people I was with in the store on the other side of the road in a white van, yelling at me to cross, but I didn't want to leave her. I tried to carry her and I did okay but she seemed impossibly heavy and I stumbled and fell on the road. The cars swerved around us and we were close enough to the other side that I could drag her off the road. The sky kept falling and the van drove and that's all I can remember. Ahh, frustrating! I know there was way more than that! Can't believe I dreamed about the last day and forgot the ending!

Sometimes I have other people's dreams. Dreams full of people I've never seen and I'm nowhere in it. Stuff just goes on and I'm sort of watching from an invisible perspective with no ability to interact. I think, "What the hell? What is this? Where am I?"

Sometimes interesting things happen but mostly it's pretty boring. God I'm such a boring person, even my dreams get boring. Maybe my brain gets lost when I sleep and ends up in someone else's dream. That could happen because I get lost and distracted easily when I'm awake. So, who knows where I go when I'm asleep?

Other dreams I have, I'll die in the dream, but won't wake up. The dream just keeps going without me. I dreamed I was very sick in the hospital once. And my family was there and I died very peacefully, but didn't wake up. The dream kept going. I watched my family walk out of the room and someone pulled the covers over my dead body to cover my head. Then the dream skipped forward about 5 years, and there was a different family living in my house. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be a ghost, or what, but I couldn't speak or interact with them. I just wondered where my family moved to after I died, and if I could somehow find them.

Ever have a falling dream where you wake up right when you hit the ground? Yeah me too, only I didn't wake up when I hit the ground. I went splat. It was messy.

Poor thing, that doesn't sound like any fun. Interesting, though, that you have other people's dreams. I do sometimes too, I think it's because I feel detached from everything sometimes even if I'm awake. Do you get that often? Dreams always reflect whatever is going on in your brain at the time.
