i am so incredibly humiliated....

i have had bulimia for 3 years now and my sister knows about it. i was discussing it with her openly in which i thought to be the privacy of my own home this morning. After a long rant my aunty and uncle who have been staying with us suddenly emerged from the opposite room, having heard our entire conversation. Im so embarressed, i hate hate hate people knowing, especially family. should i confront them...or ask them not to bring it up again? i dont them them very well but will now always feel awkward around them and whenever they come to stay :(

:) Don't worry sweetie, a lot of people have bulimia these days, and bizarrely enough its not seen as that unusual a thing anymore. If you don't want to confront them, don't. It won't do you any harm. If they think that its necessary for you to talk to them about it they will let you know (believe me, THEY WILL LET YOU KNOW). Its nice that you've been able to talk to someone about it though. Take care.
