I accidently crushed a jar of spaghetti sauce at the grocery store today. I was feeling tense and had a good grip on it and it just cracked and caved in on itself.
I don't consider myself to be the kind of person that gets really tense or stressed and even when I do I like to think I never show it.
Maybe that jar was already cracked and I just finished it off.
Or maybe, unconsciously, I'm harboring anger towards spaghetti.

from what it sounds like, you are having passive-aggressive reactions to the subliminal messages displayed prominently on the packing of the spaghetti sauce product. you obviously are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder due to some spaghetti-related subliminal messaging incident in your past, thus you cannot be held accountable for your current frame of mind and any actions that might stem from it.
hahaha just kidding. (: but really, it was probably already cracked, and if you were stressed and gripping it tightly that would set it off.

I think you're first explanation makes more sense. The flying spaghetti monster seeks to torment me for falling away from the faith! Oh no!!
I think what you have is a very severe case of SDD (Spaghetti Destructive Disorder), I would consult your doctor right away, others suffering from this disorder have been known to put posters of damaged spaghetti and some have even gone as far to stick broken spaghetti into paper art collages and draw pictures of spaghetti strings with angel horns. I knew an old lady with SDD, she replaces her floor with spaghetti so she was always crushing it whilst going about her daily business, it was really sad...
You really need help jack, this is a very serious issue, very serious indeed. x

Flying spaghetti monster!
I dunno, you did say a little while ago that you were losing inches & not lbs, at least at one point, which suggests muscle gain. I've had a couple muscle-growth-spurts over the past few years & I've had some weird moments discovering that I have more physical strength than I thought. The most memorable, unfortunately, is when I'd just got a new mp3 player and I broke it just by squeezing it too hard when I was having a tense moment.
I was pretty choked. Also I can't friendly-punch my brother anymore, because I can't be sure I won't hurt him (he isn't really up high in the muscle department).
Maybe invest in a stress ball?
I find drumming helps when I'm super tense.

I usually life weights when I'm tense. I do have a stress ball at my desk at work though. I like it.
