Does anyone else do this? I've taken to making my own quick fix "meals" just by chopping things up and sticking them in freezer bags. It's actually working really well for me. Usually just 1/2 cup or so of veggies & I can just stick them in the oven or microwave whenever.
One of the things I like best about doing this is just that I don't feel obligated to eat anything because it'll go bad. So when I don't feel like eating but I also feel that I need to use up the stuff in the fridge so as not to waste it, I just make interesting combinations for later, when I don't feel like preparing food.
I do it with fruit, too, to use in smoothies. Chunks of apple or orange or kiwi or whatever.
Cheaper than buying pre-frozen produce, too.

i don't do that, but it's a smart idea! i might start doing it :) i read somebody else saying frozen fruit is great to snack on while you watch tv, because it satisfies your munchies and because it's frozen each piece takes a while to eat. plus it would be great to have little bags of food to bring with me to school. haha if only i owned a microwave :[ actually it's probably for the better. i would binge on lean cuisines and stuff like that all the time lol xx
