I understand why it
is that I remain.
I walked over their
bodies to
safety, the other-girls
who were braver and
smarter and he
got to them anyway
hell coming up from
under their feet from
the backs of their
heads reeling blunt-force
sideways and down and
marking the path building
roads building
ladders and when I
crawled out
their blood had
stained my hands
as dark as his.
just something I jotted down a month or so ago. so far most of the things that I write have been about survivor guilt, PTSD, ect. I think I need to try writing something about my ED one of these days.
