For something to be considered an anxiety attack, does it have to be serious enough for EMTs to be contacted or for you to be rushed to the hospital?
There are random times when I feel anxious, where I'm just restless and I get butterflies in my stomach. But other times, I get restless, I get butterflies in my stomach, I become shaky, my heart starts like pounding, I experience a little bit of shortness of breath, and I start crying out of nowhere- but I've never received any medical attention for it.
Is it still considered an anxiety attack?
