View Full Version : Site acting weird for anyone else?

So I have been trying to look around the site for the last 30mins and it is running really slow. Also I will try and look up a members posts and it will tell me that I have to wait 30 seconds before I can look something up again between what I just did. I will also click on someone or a thread and it will all be messed up.

I have deleted cookies and done everything I can think of and things aren't getting better in fact they are getting slower.

I have been able to check out other sites and so I know for the most part that this isn't a computer thing unless there is something I don't know. So thats why I am asking to see if anyone else is having any problems? I have also restarted my computer too.

So yeah am I the only one or is there work being done that I am not aware of??

It's very unstable here too :s Takes years to load blogs and threads.

Same.

I don't know where the site's hosted, but in the northeast US, there are ~2 million people without power. If the site is hosted somewhere with power outage issues, that might be causing the lags.

It's the first time ever I've had any problems with this site so give it a chance (: Everybody (and apparently everything too) can have a bad day.

Stop giving the new person hard time... Chill.

Stats software was taking too much resources... it was set to run once ever 24hrs now changed to run every 6hrs so it should be more frequent and keep the load down.

And yeah sometimes the site is just unavailable and I can't access it. It's happened about 3 times since yesterday. It resolves itself within the hour but it's still annoying, not knowing when/if it's randomly going to disappear.
