For almost 24 hours now I've had intermittent chest pain. It's in the left side of my chest and it's a sharp pain. It comes and goes maybe twice an hour and it only lasts a couple seconds at a time.

I went to urgent care this morning, and both my EKG and blood tests were normal. No electrolyte imbalance, nothing.

I'm not dizzy, I can breathe just fine, I don't have a fever, etc.

I'm anorexic, if that makes a difference.

Are these chest pains just psychosematic? Meaning, am I imagining them? Is is stress? Is it something serious that just doesn't show up in test results? I'm so frustrated because I constantly worry about having a heart attack, and the fact that my test results keep coming back normal just piss me off!

It is possible that you have pulled a muscle. Pulling a muscle in your chest will bring this stuff on. If it still hurts tomorrow I would call your doctor and try and get in to be seen and find out if thats what it is. Also sometimes with chest pain you may not always get answers the first time you go in. DO NOT BE SCARED TO GET HELP AGAIN!!! If it gets worse. But it is possible that if your underweight your putting pressure on your heart and make it work harder which can feel like a heart attack.
