does anyone else get high from fasting?

iv been fasting since yesterday and i feel totally high.
like if you take speed or mdma or something and you get that buzzy feeling in your stomach.
this always happens to me when i fast, does it happen to anyone else?
it feels really good....maby its endorphins or something. kinda feels like a mild does of heroine.
anyone know a biological reason for this??

I think it depends on how long you've been fasting, what you've been doing, etc. I don't know, really. When I get it... it's like this emptyemptyempty feeling singing through me. Usually after going anywhere from a day to a few days without eating anything. Sometimes I'll end up with <20 cals from things like children's vitamins, tums, etc.
Doesn't work if I do liquid fasts or catabolic (so called 'negative calorie') food diets-- just water, plain tea, black coffee. sometimes gum.

I mean, I've had the sick feeling before, too, but it never lasts long. For me, if I'm fasting, it always is easier when I've been eating 'good' food (like fresh produce instead of anything processed) for at least a couple days beforehand. Coming off of things with lots of sugar in them, even when you don't eat much of them, always makes me feel a little sick.
