Hey, so we had the thread about posting foods, but as pointed out it might be helpful to have a different thread where we can post our fav snack n foods etc.

I've done this as a UK one cuz a lot of people on here are from the US, and they have completely different stuff over there! (jealous of their walden farm calorie free foods!!!!!!)

So yeah UK guys and gals. . .fav snacks????

My top 3 for me are. . .in no particular order lol:

Muller Light Fat Free Yoghurt - varying from 85 to 103 calories a pot depending on the flavour. There are so many flavours you can't get bored, and they taste great!!! My fav flavour atm is vanilla and dark chocolate. . .yeh thats right, chocolate sprinkles n still under 100 cals! lol

Special K Mini Bites: theres chocolate, original and lemon! they all taste great and for 98/99 cals a bag!! pretty filling to and the choc n lemon ones are sweet so are handy if u feel the need to stay away from a binge!

Harvester Cereal Bars: Toffee, White Chocolate and Choc Chip. I LOVE the toffee ones, major sweetness, and they are 89cals a bar!! They come in a red box, and the toffee ones are mm mm MMMM! LOL

Please post what you live off lol xx

I can't remember what they're called, but I love snacking on them; they're like marshmallow things inbetween bits of wafer, 50 calories and they're pretty big.

Also, options hot chocolate, 35 calories a drink, or a bit more if you add a bit of semi-skimmed milk (I can't do skimmed), I absolutely LOVE hot chocolate, it's like getting a hug from inside lol.

I'll deffo be looking out for those cereal bars! I have some go ahead crispy slices (56 calories a bar) but they come in little packs of three, I take them to lectures and always end up eating all three!

just remembered another! It's not a snack, but good for lunch etc, Bernard mattesons turkey rashers, great substitute for bacon, 56 in TWO rashers, and they taste good! They sell them in Asda, but not every supermarket. I usually have them with some hovis (the ones which are 48 calories a slice) half a tomato and some HP sauce, yum!

Tins of peeled plum tomatos - 37 calories for half a tin. Blend and then heat in a pan, add some oregano or a dab of paprika and when its warm and bubbly you have a low calorie tomato soup!
Activia fat free vanilla yoghurt - 65 calories.
Chicken stock - 5 calories per 100ml. So about 15 calories for a large portion.
Mango - One large mango has 135 calories! A large one filled me up for like a day.
Kor chicken noodle soup - 45 calories.
Kor minestrone soup - 47 calories
Batchelors slim-a-soup - Range from 50-60 calories depending on the flavour.
Hartleys low calorie jelly - less than 10 calories a pot.
Fruit Winders - 60 calories

I'm obsessed with low calorie foods :)

Tinned Tomatoes (~70cals/tin) = Godsend =P

Love celery/raw carrot,

As for sweetness, fatfree jelly (~10 cals), WW yogurts (48-62 cals, flavour depending, pink and white wafers (50cals!!)

GRAPES - I have a slight obsession, and its the one thing i dont want to purge after eating =D

2 breadsticks, broken into little bits - 22 calories (11 per breadstick)
15 grams of Sainsburys basic low fat soft cheese - 24 calories

Then you can dip the bits of breadstick into the soft cheese and hey presto, you have a 46 calorie meal/snack.

Oh my gosh I actually have some frozen blueberries in my freezer!! I am soo eating those tomorrow :)

Did a little shop today, kind of looked a bit silly buying tins of tomatos, slim a soups and low calorie jelly but luckily the self checkout wasn't really able to give me funny looks :) I brought so much of the jelly though, some lady in the que before me was like

"oh..is it nice that jelly?" Kind of embarrasing as I instantly started talking rubbish about how its super nice and in the summer I eat it with fresh berries HAHA.

I don't know what came over to me!

But yes, raw carrot is good! I cut it up in to teeny tiny pieces and it takes a lot longer to eat.

Sorry to double post, but if you get a carrot thats under 100 grams (so its roughly thirty calories), you can cut it into thin slices, then mix two zero calorie sweetners with a little bit of water, and then brush the carrots with the sweet water and put them in a tray in an oven on full blast for a bit, and you have roast carrots without all the calories and fat from oil :)

I just discovered this, hence my excitement.

willow: actually lol at ur posts. especially when you said 'i don't know what came over me' haha! made me smile. i need to get back on the sugar free jelly! but its hard living with my parents and sister. there is always crap in the house. so frustrating. xx
