Honestly I'm getting desperate here....

I guess I've been weird when it comes to food and eating for years now...when I look back I guess it started in my early teans....

I think of food candy ect and weight all of the time.... then I get periods were I starve myself but it never lasts for more than 14 days! Once I lost 7kg in 10days that is my personal record! In othr periods I eat like it would be my last meal....

right now i'm 174cm and I way 78kg (say fat) I wan't to loose at least 18kg I started fasting but I couldn't complete it....I'm actually quite good at doing it without my family noticing I can go for maybe 2 or 3 days without eating.....

my biggest enemy are my cravings!

I would like to loose the 18kgs as fast as possible so how do u guys do it??

How do u keep the cravings away? How do u loose weight fast??

Any tips are welcome

liquids fill you up, low cal sweet thing like diet swiss miss hot coca or those fat free jello cups...you can eat tons of sweet fruits and not ingest that many cals

hey hunn,

just eat between 600-900cals a day search "Miranda kerr" on google and u will see a pic of her body. make her ur thinspo she aint real thin like sickinly thin shes thin/curvy healthy looking. and once i saw her bod i was more deticated ot my diet i just wanted my bod to look like hers. so eat like 600-900cals a day max! i did this and i went from 67kg to 53kgs in 3 months. but if u want to be more extrememe and say do 500-700cals u might lose it quicker. but i occasionally b/p but usually i just eat between 650-950cals.

whoa, do you mind if I ask if you can pm me what you eat in a day? It's easier cause you're aussie and we have a lot of different brands to the US/UK that's mainly on here. It would be really helpful, I'm using this week to slowly lower my cals so to know what you did would be a nice guide. I'm 60kg so hopefully I can get to your 53 in half your time! :D

I'm starting a ten day fast now..... I'll might have a vegetable ones i a while but I'll try to stick with tea, water and diet soda

Well my fast didn't work.... I got trough the whole day, I even got through dinner time without habīving anything but tea and diet coke but then I started to feel sick so I had a bowl og musli (don't know if its the same in english) and two biscuits probably about 5-600 cals!

I think in stead of the fast I'll do like u surgested and stay on a low cal diet!

I'll make a thread in here with what I've aten every day that way I can keep up with my progress

Yeah, try a journal either here or one you write down, you'll feel a lot more 'in control' then. And yes it's always easy throughout the day because you're out and about and then you get home and don't have much to do but eat. So that's why I've found restricting to be better

well actually I'm home all days these days cuz I have a mini bachelor wich are going to be handed in next week so It's hard sometimes not to go to the fridge LOL

I also writes down what I eat in a book but I prefer to do it on here I don't know why (:

hey guys. . .gona be a geek here and go with the science of loosing weight just for those that don't know :-P . . .

in ONE pound of fat. . .there are approximately 3360 calories! (google it, im not kidding!)

so to burn off 1lb, you need to create a calorie deficit of 3360 calories.

You can do this by eating less calories or burning off more calories, but obviously the best way is to use both of these.

If you want to drop 1 lb every 3 days you have to be in -1220 cals by the end of the day. Figure out your BMR, this is what you need if you just lie still all day, just for your body to function. Then you know how many calories a day you use up if you don't do anything!

From there you can figure out what you can eat or need to exercise. E.g myself: I need 1,300 cals a day, so I could fast and not eat (wel eat 80cal), loosing 1lbs every 3days. . .oooooor I could exercise 500 cals, so I need 1,800cals. . .then I can eat like 580 cal that day :-). . . .i hope im making sense!

When I dropped 20 lbs (from 8st 10 to 7 st 4) last summer, I ate between 200-800 calories a day, varying it. . .and exercised my ass off!! exercise is so important, and it will keep your muscle working, so its cant dissapear and waste away like what happens with anorexia. and make sure you eat protein to because i can't express how vital it is!

good luck with your weight loss, ive started mine again today, and completed day 1 with a fast, drank only water and took a multi vitamin :-) (which i also recommend taking because I used to get ill all the time!)

soz 4 being a reet geek LOL!!. . .completely agree with keeping a journal, and taking no money out with you, etc xx

It's actually 3500 cals. But the rest of what you said is right, you need to work out your bmr and then the deficit you need to loose X amount of weight

Actually I do know all of that (: I once wrote a guide on how to count cals LOL But its great you have written it for thoose who doesn't know (:

A female with a normal job that isn't fysical or a student that doesn't exercise more than walking to work/bus etc. needs 2200cals a day
if u find your bmr u will get what u burn in keeping your body functioning... then u should add the cals for being awake, every single step u take, everytime u get up from the chair.... It would be impossible to get the right number so I went online and find some statistics of what a female my age and size with the same activity level as me would burn during a day and that was 2200cals

yeh cuz im a short arse i def do not burn 2200cals!! lol

i try to stick to under 500 if im restricting, so its no wonder i end up binging soon enuf!!

day 2 of my new regime tho, yday i fasted on just water. . .2day ive had 310 cals, but just been for a 9mile bike ride so def burnt of more than that, and i hav trainin 2nyt, and no more food, onli water and a diet coke for 2day :-)

hav to look hotter than other pple 4 haloween lol xx

a binge is wen u consume a ridiculous amount of calories than a regular person would in a short space of time, like in the space of less than 2hrs.

My binges can be anywhere from 1,200 cal, right up to 3,000 (have never calculate my worse one!) in the space of an hour!! so then i purge it as im mia x

It's actually about 1700 - 2000 for a female between 17 - 19 who is sedentary (bscally no exercise)
