I have read alot of rant and raves..i keep hearing things about how your all sick of the was some people see themselves. (she has friends, plays soccer, amazing boyfriend, so skinny) "but she hates herself and thats annoying". I think this is stupid to be annoyed about and really someone with eating disorders, or drug problems, or anything like that should understand
THE UGLY TRUTH:
"There are few in the world who will truly love themselves"
(no matter how skinny, popular, or loved by others)
"We probably annoy people with our problems just the same, we can get over it"
"Part of our problem is we want perfection"
"Nothing is Perect" (it kind of contradicts itself)
"No matter how skinny, how beautiful, how popular, or how much we strife for things, we all end someday"
(pretty depressing)
Heres a poem i wrote, you can read it if you want, i would like some feedback.
"THINGS OF NO MATTER"
Were would we all be?
Our mistakes carved into our foreheads
For all the world to see.
Maybe a little closer to peace.
A little further from reality.
Would we color the sky blue?
Sketch the perfest glass of wine?
Never drawing out of line?
Paint on great artist who plead "but why"
Remember game players, your life is lie.
There will be an abundance of clams.
The pearl is the question.
Out of many mistakes, few will be lessons.
Snowflakes, no matter the size, the beauty ,
they all fall in unity.
falling so gracefully
flying through crisp winds
"Hello cold ground, how could this be?"
"Just a moment ago i was flying free"
"I was so perfect, why am i in your deadening grasp"
The ground replied so calm and collected,
acting as if this was something expected
"The fall from the sky is of no matter,
the clean and the pure, the ones filled with fear,
In the end you all end up here."
"I am a certain destination"
