Lost and found

I've started to write on a brand new page...

I have filled the pen in my hand with black ink of a thousand failures
but I am not in control of the white space that is being filled in right now...

facing the same pain over and over...
It all started by just pitying yourself...

Until pity develops into hatred...

don't show any weakness now... The world moves much faster than you think...

Your friends have left you... You have no identity... You have no home... You have no more career or future... you have no life... You have lost your mind...Lost yourself...

You lack confidence... lack success...lack ambition... lack judgment... lack contentment... lack realisation...lack stability...lack strength...

Where are you going to go now?
What do you see in your reflection?
When will you be able to attain approval?
Why do you always have to disappoint the people around you?
How can you make the right decisions...
make anything right at all for once?

Slowly I crawl and grow under your skin...

No more appetite that would fill the empty void in your screaming stomach...
No more sense in any attempts of untying that knot in your silent throat...
No more tears that can escape from your tired and wrinkled eyes...
No more smiles or laughter of colours that paint the empty canvas on your pale face...
No more tight embraces that will keep your shivering body warm...

This is the truth...don't deny

I know what you want...don't defy

Someone by your side who gives you a hand to hold on to and pulls you back up when you are down...
Someone who catches you when you have fallen deep...
Someone who stitches your bleeding wounds...
Someone who guides you after the lights of fulfillment have been switched off...
Someone who points you in a direction you have been so blind to before... after running in the wrong but same frustrating turn over and over again...

Yes... This is what you really need...there will be no more greed... I am the only 'someone' indeed...

If you follow my voice you will be able to have that special someone...

All the time! You will never ever feel lonely or lost again if you just take my hand...

Have a look in the mirror... That is where you will meet me staring back at you and your ambitions!

Don't be afraid... You don't even have to ask or search for me.. I am already there.

All I ask for is that you stay on track and let me touch your soul every now and then...

Just to remind you of who you really are...
To remind you of who you deserve to be..
To remind you of all the things in life that have turned you into this...
To remind you of who you don't want to be...
To remind you of what and who you are really craving for...
To give you an identity...
To remind you that I will be with you for an eternity... That I will always be around...

If you might feel that I am hard on you at times then remember all these words that I have just told you...

What would you do without me?

Yes...you would simply die...-alone
And we don't want that, right?

So let me wrap my smothering arms round your poor soul and feel me... Feel alive!
