hey everyone,
so i'm sure a lot of you live with your parents. my mom has sooooo much junk food in the house (m&ms, donuts, chips, cookies, etc.). i'm usually pretty good about avoiding it, but sometimes when i'm really hungry and weak, i give in. i'll find myself having "only 1 bite" of a cookie, or 1 m&m. but each of those little nibbles add up!! any advice for avoiding junk food and crap when you're surrounded by it and living near it? i definitely can't get rid of it because it's my mom's food. also, tonight we're having pasta and sausage for dinner. SAUSAGE. it's extremely fattening. if someone puts a plate of sausage in front of me, kind of hard to resist. i'm just wondering how all of you deal with living with people who eat lots of crap.
thanks :-)

Become vegetarian??? Make it a really big announcement, and then you can't really go back on it if everyone knows.

my flatmate is my brother, and he eats wicked amounts of junkfood. like that's all he ever eats, junkfood and takeaway.

The vegan/vegetarian thing is a good idea. you could also suddenly be very concerned about your teeth and only eat things with no added sugar.

that's a good one too. Have your mom hide her junkfood in her own secret place so you aren't tempted?
